Mark is the newest addition to TMA Law, but is no stranger to planning, or to the firm.
Mark attended the University of Waterloo School of Planning, earning his BES in 2009, winning the departmental award for distinguished academic achievement. While at Waterloo, Mark was taught Municipal and Planning Law by TMA’s own Nancy Smith and Scott Snider, and later revamped the curriculum for the course under Nancy Smith’s guidance. Over the ensuing years, Mark maintained a close connection with the firm.
Mark earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto and then articled with a prominent personal injury, family, and civil litigation firm in Hamilton. Mark was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013 and gained a wealth of experience in a variety of fields before joining TMA Law. In addition to planning and development law, Mark is experienced in criminal law, family law (specifically child protection matters), and general civil litigation.
