Meredith Baker

Meredith is an associate at the Hamilton office of TMA Law. Her practice focuses on municipal, planning and development law. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Meredith articled and worked at a midsized Hamilton law firm before spending three years working in-house for a GTA municipality.

Upon completion of her undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa, Meredith attended law school at the University of Western Ontario. She was called to the bar in 2016.

Meredith values and seeks out opportunities to engage with her legal and broader communities. She currently sits on the Ontario Bar Association Municipal Law Section Executive, and has taken on speaking and leadership roles for various Continuing Professional Development events over the past few years. Meredith is an active volunteer with the Bruce Trail, maintaining a 5-km section of trail outside of Hamilton and having previously served on the Board of Directors for the Iroquoia Bruce Trail Club.
